Doris Marshall nee Collacot. a lady who has been with me my whole life.

As my dear Aunt, I found her to be such a Stoic , loving, daft, humorous, caring loyal friend and confident, whom I looked upon as my surrogate Mum.

A 'Lady' who no matter what she was enduring at the time always looked immaculate, taking care of her appearance, (often on a shoes string), but you would never guess.

She was a loving daughter who looked after her elderly Mum (My grandma), visiting her every day with such love and loyalty, regardless of what she had going on in her own life.

The love and pride she had for her family was so evident during our many chats. She would always excitably updated me on her latest news, be it from her beloved Grandchildren  Trace, Han, Matt or Geoff or about her boys Rob and Kim and their relevant life partners. As her family grew, she was thrilled when her great grand babies came along and I would be given all the details with such relish.

She was our family matriarch, the nucleus which held us together and will continue to do so!

My memories of my precious Aunt Dar will always be with me. R.I.P lovely lady!
